Admission Requirements

The Requirements for admission is for two groups of Students, as follows:

  1. Certificate Courses

    The Certificate Courses are designed for everyone with basic education at the level of Junior Secondary School (JSS). It is also meant for every other person, inclusive of Graduates in any discipline including the Arts and Social Sciences with interest and desire for becoming computer literate, preparatory to being an expert user of Information Technology.


  2. National Diploma—Multimedia Technology

    Students who have completed senior secondary school and obtained 5 credits at NECO or WAEC at not more than two (2) sittings in:

    • Mathematics
    • English

    Plus other subjects from the following:

    • Any Science subject – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric. Science, Fine
    • Art/Technical Drawing
    • Any of the Social Sciences – Economics, History, Literature in English, Geography

    Mature Students with any Tertiary Qualifications, such as NCE, ND, NABTEB in any Subject are also eligible for admissions.


Admissions are finalised with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. For the 2008 Session, the Minimum Score at the MPCE Examination has been set at 120 marks.

Candidates who may have chosen other Institutions but not yet admitted are welcomed to bring their result slips, for Aflon Digital Institute to process with the authorities at JAMB.


Aflon Digital Institute and its accredited programmes are listed in the JAMB brochure with effect from 2008/2009 Session. Admissions and placements will therefore be through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, based on scores obtained from the MPCE examinations.
