Aflon is mounting 3 training activities as the year comes gradually to an end. Intended participants are hereby requested to select one or more of the following courses:
1. Beginners Web Design and Management, starting 28-Novermber-2011 The BEGINNERS Web Design and Management Course is focused on the visual graphic and information design skills required to create web sites. It will teach how to plan, organize, and create web sites from start to completion. The course emphasizes individual page design and layout. Using some very powerful techniques taught in this course, you will learn how even the most simplest of pages can be arranged to look more appealing and professional. 2. Advanced Web Programming Fundamentals, starting 05-December-2011 This ADVANCED Web Programming Certificate Course is based on the syllabus of the International Webmasters Association (IWA). It is intended to teach participants on how to plan, organize, and create a web site from the scratch. The course places a heavy emphasis on individual page design and layout using web programming languages. Using some very programming techniques taught in this course, participants will learn how even the most simplest of web pages can be arranged to look more appealing and professional. 3. Electronic Publishing, also starting 05-December-2011 More often than not, the capacities of the computer resources installed in most offices are not utilized beyond the mere typing of documents. Most other jobs such as the design and production of letter headed papers, envelopes, business cards, invitation cards, programme of events, etc are contracted out to be done at Area 10, Garki; where there are less complement of equipment. Hydro Hotel, Minna, Niger State is the Venue for the Courses
Minna, Niger State is the Venue for the proposed courses. Despite being intended for public servants residents in the FCT, everyone across Nigeria is welcome to participate. The MINNA was chosen as the venue, for the principal reason of affording maximum concentration and focus on the scheduled intensive skill acquisition by the intended partcipants. The timing for the programme is planned to be from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm on daily basis, to afford detailed coverage of the intended skill sets.
