IT Training Event for Teachers in the FCTA Completed On Friday, July 08, 2011, Aflon completed the training of 520 teachers of the FCT. They were drawn from Basic Education and Secondary Schools in the Federal Capital Territory. We started hosting about 120 teachers on weekly basis beginning from Monday June 13, 2011. It was a very good opportunity to interact with the best of the teaching human resources that the nation's capital has to offer. In sharing IT knowledge, we also benefitted from the feedback received on what goes on in the nation's classrooms. There are indeed challenges that confront teachers on daily basis, we came to the conclusuin that life is ultimately about solving problems. Before long, we shall be sharing the experiences gained with a wider audience on these pages. Suffice it for now to warmly appreciate all those that made the project possible: the Honourable Minister of FCT, Senator Bala MOHAMMED, the scientist Permanent Secretary, Dr. Biodun OLORUNFEMI; plus a host of all other top officials of the Establishment and Training Department of the FCT.
