Being one of the foremost IT education organizations in the FCT since 1994, Aflon is often times retained by newer and smaller companies to jointly manage projects. We on our own had to contract Messrs Chams Plc for the use of their facilities to train 320 officers at very short notice in 2009. In the same manner, Messrs Borknet Nigeria Limited has found it quite expedient to use the facility and expertise of the Aflon Organization.

We have been contracted to execute the training of 600 officers over a 5 week period beginning from July, 2011. This is another very bold initiative by the management of Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). Only recently, we successfully completed the training of 520 teachers. All these are indication of the of desire FCTA to facilitate and promote the use of e-Government tools in the efficient delivery of services to the public.

This sort of challenge is what we at Aflon are able to respond flawlessly. We have done it before, when from 23—25 September, 2009, the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) retained Aflon to undertake IT Capacity Building and Skill Acquisition Assessment Retreat for 320 Grade Level 17 Officers (Directors) aspiring to be appointed into the position of Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Public Service. We successfully partnered with Messrs Chams Plc to deliver excellent outcome.

The forthcoming event involving 600 officers is therefore another challenge that will task our abilities to its greatest limits. We are therefore preparing and testing all our capabilities to empower the prospective participants for improved service delivery at the end of the programme.

We are quite happy to have the confidence of the FCTA management, and hope to produce an excellent outcome.
